Tate Hill Beach

If you come out of Haglathe House and cross the road, walk down towards the 199 steps and you will see some steps on your right going down to Tate Hill Beach. It is the East Side of Whitby beach and the smaller beach.
Tate Hill Beach is a small, sheltered, soft sandy beach, that both visitors and residents can enjoy throughout the year, be it for picnics, barbecues or beach activities.
Dogs are allowed on this beach all year round.
